Boston's ALT.NET group

Are you a coder who works with Microsoft development technologies? You know...stuff like Visual Studio, SQL Server, ASP.NET, Silverlight, Team Foundation Server, and Windows Azure. This is the group for you. (BTW, you might remember us from when we were called Beantown .NET). We are now holding meetings in Cambridge, MA and Waltham, MA after the Boston .NET User Group has become part of Microsoft DevBoston.

The Boston Orchard CMS group will aim to start a following for Orchard developers and everyone interested in using Orchard CMS in their projects. We will begin by finding out what people want to learn about and then each month have speaking engagements and HOWTO labs. Also we will contribute to the Boston Orchard CMS website and build various open source modules for the site and the community.

This group brings together Kinect users and developers in the Boston metro area. We'll share experiences, cool demos, and learn about developing with Microsoft's Kinect sensor and related products.

The New England Microsoft Developers meet monthly to discus software development with the Microsoft tools and products. We discuss .Net and Web and SQL topics. This group was formerly know as The New England Visual Basic Professionals. We've broadened the focus beyond VB to include other languages and technologies. The group meets monthly on the first Thursday of the month at 201 Jones Rd. in Waltham, MA at 6:30-8:30. Meetings are free and open to all with or without reservations.

This group is for anyone interested in the F# programming language. We'll discuss a wide variety of topics related to programming with F#, and developers of all skill levels and backgrounds are welcome.

This group is for Software Engineers in and around the Merrimack Valley. The meetings will be focused on a variety of topics including new technologies, trends in software engineering, frameworks, and programming languages.
